equivalent to 100mg erythromycin after reconstitution as per instruction
mentioned on the pack.
Filmtabs 100mg/250mg/500mg: Erythomycin stearate equivalent to
100mg/250mg/500mg erythromycin.
Suspension: Per 5ml: Erythromycin ethylsuccinat equivalent to 200mg
erythromycin after reconstitution as per instruction mentioned on the pack.
IV Inj 1Gm: per vial: Erythromycin lactobionate lyophilized powder
equivalent to 1gm erythromycin.
Indications : Upper and lower respiratory tract infections, skin and
soft tissue infections of mild to moderate severity. Conjunctivitis of the
newborn, pneumonia of infancy, and urogenital infections during pregnancy.
Also recommended for uncomplicated urethral, endocervical or rectal
infections in adult due to Chlamydia trachomatis. Erythrocin is an
alternative choice in of treatment for primary syphilis in patients allergic
to the penicillin. in treatment of primary syphilis spinal fluid examination
should be done before treatment and as part of follow-up after therapy. For
