Indications:
Propofol injection is an intravenous (IV) anesthetic
agent that can be used for both induction and/or maintenance
of anesthesia as part of a balanced anesthetic technique
for inpatient and outpatient surgery in adults and in
children age one month or older. Propofol may also be
used for sedation for surgical and diagnostic procedures
in adult patients.
